Well, training camps have opened people and fantasy drafts are rapidly approaching. With that in mind I will be compiling MY rankings of the top 40 QB's, 50 RB's, 50 WR's, 30 TE, and all the DST units. I will not be ranking kickers simply because there is no point. The NY Giants failed in their attempt to repeat as Super Bowl champions falling to the Philadelphia Eagles 23-11 in the Divisional Playoff. 2009 Oakland Raiders Defense as I see it
Oakland's defense had some fundamental flaws going into the offseason, and as you would expect, Al Davis failed to address them. In fact, he only made things worse. Are we surprised there lately? While the Raiders weren't terrible versus the pass, they couldn't stop the run to save their lives. The team gave up 4.5 yards per carry, good for 24th in the NFL. After another year of turmoil with Al Davis and Lane Kiffin publicly bickering, Tom Cable steps in as the full-time head coach. He will attempt to bring that Raiders "swagger" back to a franchise that has gone into a historical tailspin since losing the Super Bowl after the 2002 season.
