Football is here people as training camps open this week and I couldn't be more excited.  OaklandRaidersCentral.com is a continuous work in progress and I wanted to let my readers know of some impending changes/improvements that will be implemented on the website by the start of the 2009 regular season.  First, there will be a live scoreboard/ticker that will be on the homepage allowing users to instantly see all the sc0res from all the major sports.  There will also be a headlines section placed on the homepage much in the same way that all of the major sites have.  Furthermore, the overall functionality and appearance of the site and the forum is going to be improved dramatically as I have enlisted the services of a professional web designer.

Starting in late August I will be doing a weekly fantasy podcast with Mr. Payne of No Payne No Glory.  I have already done 2 podcasts and those and all future tapings can be listened to both here: http://senaxis.com/Bloc/Payne/Blog/ and on ITunes.

Starting with the first week of the regular season I will also be posting a weekly start em/sit em column.  So you know I WILL NOT be stating the obvious such as play Adrian Peterson or Drew Brees.  Rather I will focus my attention to the marginal players that give owners fits come 1245 (or 945 if you are on the West Coast like myself) Sunday mornings.

Keep reading and stay patient.  Over time with your help I will make oaklandraiderscentral.com the best Raider site on the net with the exception of the official site. I thank you all for your continued support.

Cheers and Beers
